New story idea by me jessica singleton

I came up with a new story outline last night. I do not have a name for it. It's not any type of combination it's too platonic for that.
It's more science fiction and alternate universe.
But it has fantasy and magic so it's kind
Fairytale like.
The story is about a queen in Egypt who lives alone with her cat in a palace. She goes into a market Square to find a merchant who sales silk scarves . The merchant tries to pick her pockets but doesn't get away with it. Then she randomly meets the perfect man. He makes her fall in love with him only to break her heart. One of the gifts that he gave her was a beautiful silk scarf like the one she had bought from the merchant , that she had to return. Then she found out that he was a rare form of a creature.  kind of like a  a werewolf . he was a shift changer / skin changer type creature.  Where he could morph into anything he wanted just by looking at it. Kind of like a Chamaeleon lizard. She was so broken up and angry that she told the gods in heaven what he had done to her . she prayed. He was not allowed to attack humans for emotions. His kind fed off of human emotion. He could've easily gone to a gladiator match, a theater production and he could've sat amongst the crowd to feed on their emotions. Whether it be sadness ,fear excitement, happiness or just sheer entertainment. But he chose to play with someone's life and someone's heart to get different reactions out of them. The gods did not find his behavior funny . so they had him locked up. He cursed her with immortality so when he got out he could find her. The god's wanted to protect her. So they made her a cat immortal with special powers.
Centuries later she lived in America. She was a historian at a local college.
One night she received an invitation to a art museum opening. The invitation would've seemed normal but it came with something very rare attached to it. The invitation was a flat postcard, but The invitation even though it was probably made out of a postcard was covered in white silk and embroidered with gold. Gold wasn't gold leafing it was as though someone melted gold and then use it as a typeface to put the wording on the invitation. Around the invitation was another white ribbon it was made out of silk the white was slightly off from the white of the postcard. In the center of the bow of the white ribbon was a red flower.  The flower had not been seen in centuries on the earth it was considered Extinct in its own right as a plant species. The flower was very real very alive and vibrant and just recently picked off the vine. It got her attention besides she loved art , and she had heard a lot about the museum that was opening downtown. She assumed she would never be able to see it. Because it had a membership like a country club. The fee was $5000 a year. The museum was a collection of private collectors like show Intel for adults. It was only open once a month for displays. If you had a membership you were given dinner then you were given a private tour of the latest things that had  come in. You were given exclusive opportunities to go to auctions that no one in the world knew about or to see private collections that were going to be auctioned off. She loved art and history and decided that it was a blessing because she wasn't going to have to pay for her dinner she was going to get to just go see the museum.
So that Friday night she went to the museum for the opening. Every guest who was invited all had one thing or another in common. Some of them were archaeologist some of them were photographers that worked for very expensive magazines some of them are television and movie personalities most of them were very wealthy people who collected art and then there was her a historian. But they were all known for their collections of art and history.
She was given a goodie bag and that had a diary of an author that hadn't been alive in over 200 years she was given a pill purse. The pill purse was made out of solid gold and sapphires. The pill purse must've been at least 60 years old but what made it even more interesting was that it was filled with seeds. Not just any seeds . they were flower seeds. These flower seeds would grow one of the rarest flowers in the world that had not been seen on the earth since the days of Christ. The flower was quite unique in itself once grown. The petals put off a mysterious oil.  it smelled like fresh cakes out of an oven . it was beautiful.   it was almost an anti-aging product in itself. If a woman rubbed the oil on her face the next morning or within 24 hours of having it on her face she would look at least 60 years younger and have the skin of a child. When the flower was consumed or eaten it could cure just about anything in the world.
One man received a goodie bag with a first edition Hemingway book. The book had been autographed and it was in practical mint condition as though someone had bought it off the shelf and then met Hemingway and had him sign it and then traveled through time. One person received an antique doll same quality of perfection from a French company named Jumeau.
The archaeologist had one of the most interesting gifts out of all of them inside his goodie bag. The archaeologist received a surgical technician's kit  of scalpels by a world renowned Dr. that was famous in the 18th century.
Dinner was served in courses.
1st plate-
White bone China
Gold rims
Golden rose in the center of the plate with a single pearl.
The plates were loaded with oysters, and lobster tails.
Red , gold and pearls.
Mocking the lack of a garden salad .
2nt plate-
Soup served from a crystal bowl.
3rd plate-
Lamb, truffle mushrooms, potato bread, stewed green beans and carrots.
4th plate-
German chocolate cake with warm caramel icing. With a mixed drink that mocked cider and Irish whiskey cream. It was made from apples, whiskey and brown sugar and cinnamon. Topped with Irish whiskey cream.
The exhibits were amazing.
In a glass case sat a sketch pad of da Vinci. The sketches had never been seen.
There was a corner case that had a flip book of photography. The photography was real but crude.
It was taken by a newspaper man who kept shooting while a famous artist in the 1940s was killed by psycho fan.
The curator asked the queen to translate some script. While she studied the ancient scriptures she learned about her own history.
Then she found out why the curator wanted her help. He was going to attempt to trap the shifter so he could use him to time travel and steal things that were worth money.
She left and would not help him steal. He then changed into his shift changed form.
He tried to drag her back into the past. He hoped she would be human. He time traveled to right before the god's locked him up.
He wanted to find her in her human form.
She was but the cat was still immortal.
He did not know that the god's had blessed her with a guardian.
Shift changers only have one animal from. He was like a lizard with wings.
The cat killed him and saved the queen.

It needs a lot of work and more to it.
