Along came a spider 🕷 and sat down beside her

you talk of other people's time.
You tell them how you can conduct the hands.
But before you treat that pendulum
In your hand like a toy
You might want to know
your only holding your own clock.
I walked alone down a foggy road
I had a Camus book in my hand and
A Gilmour song swimming in my head.
Waiting on the newspaper to reflect
all these secrets.
Tell me the truth.
Keep the line from control
Watch the clock.
Pardon me if I forgot to care.
I am scared of the soap box in my house
I don't know how to trust the world around me.
